I'm your provider for prenatal and postpartum care, start to finish. I begin the moment you see two lines and stay with you through twelve weeks postpartum.
Together, we'll build a birth plan reflecting what actually matters to you, and I'll make sure your complete records and preferences reach your delivering hospital ahead of time — so the team meeting you that day isn't starting from zero.
You'll be cared for during delivery by the hospital's on-call team. For many low-risk families, this is a relief: more flexibility in the room, no one racing across town, and a birth plan that's already been communicated on your behalf.
If you and your baby remain low-risk through delivery, you may be able to leave the hospital early. I'll come to you at 24–48 hours postpartum for a home visit: newborn screenings (all but the hearing test), a hands-on check for you both, and unhurried, in-person support.
