and like many midwives before me,

midwifery wasn't a choice, but a calling.

 

after a psychedelic-induced vision of the future eleven years ago, i have walked with hundreds of families through the many thresholds of fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. my path began as a doula and childbirth educator, deepened into work as a fertility doula and lactation counselor after the birth of my son, and has now brought me full circle, graduating in 2026 as a midwife. these years have been an apprenticeship to birth itself: listening, holding, and learning from the families who invited me into their stories, however they looked.

to be a midwife is to walk in the liminal: between worlds, between identities, between who we were and who we are becoming as parents to our children. my role is part guardian of safety, part keeper of ceremony, and part witness to your transformation. i bring both the practical and the mystical to every family i serve.

i am especially called to walk with first-time parents as they walk through matrescence, the profound passage of becoming. i know the courage it takes to step outside the assembly line, to trust your body, and to invite something new.

 

my promise is to hold that trust with skill, compassion, and awe.

 

every family deserves care that is personal, unrushed, and deeply human. whether i am gently palpating a belly, listening to your baby's heart, teaching a lactation or childbirth education class, or simply holding space while a parent grieves the old to make way for the new, my care is woven with the belief that the journey to parenthood lives in the duality:
